Last night of Spring Break!

It's the last night of spring break and everybody wants a piece of The Red Bar!! (2 hour wait)

Good for Ollie and Phillipe!

Some of the best food in South Walton, and always a place to unwind after a long day at the beach.

After 8 hours of sun, 5 kids at Kidz Beach, and every kayak and paddleboard rented out all day, I need the panne chicken, a brew, and listen to Jay Liles jam some tunes!

Not a wasted moment.

Not much surf, a good beach breeze out of the southeast, 73• air temp, 63• water temp....

What to do, what to do?????

How bout a little skim session!!

Local surfer and great skimboarder Matt Kemp came down to Watercolor to see us and decided to play in the small skim.

Lunch in Apalachicola

Turns out to be a great morning for a 39 minute flight from Destin airport to Apalachicola just in time for fresh oysters and a good lunch at the old cafe.
Pilot and buddy Duane feeds his RYNO by flying, and I don't mind; I go along for the smooth ride and great scenery of the coast and Cape San Blas.

Along for the ride is co pilot Dane, Allison, Karen, Ryder, and myself.

Ryder just happens to be snoozin.....

Not a bad life along the Emerald Coast!

Ryder's 1st day of work!

Finally!! It's over 70 degrees!!!

It's been a cold spring so far, but today has been great, so Ryder decided to join me on the beach to help out where he can!

Capitalizing on mom's spring break, Ryder is looking to put a few bucks in his pocket. He Definitely works for tips!

A great day for kayaking or paddleboarding. Calm seas and light winds. A perfect combination for an 11 month old.

1st day at the beach.

1st day of spring break! Air temp 61•, water temp 55•, calm winds. The quiet before the storm. This week is a little slower, but can you beat this view? No surf but a great kayak or paddleboard day. I'm going to go for a paddle. I'll let you know if I see Any dolphins or turtles!

1 down, many more to follow

I have arrived back to Florida!
After living in Seattle for the winter caring for my 10 month old son Ryder while my wife attends Medical School, it is good to be back to the beach just in time for Spring Break!

I very much miss my family and will see them soon, but sun, sand, surf, and good times now capture my attention. (Skype is a very nice invention!)

This blog will serve as a medium for all of those that are interested in the RYNO lifestyle and the extreme activities me and my crew get ourselves into! I always find myself wanting to push the boundaries of what I already know, and hope you get a feel for what it is that drives me, and makes up my RYNO lifestyle.

I urge you to also find what drives you and in a true and simple sense..."Realize Your Natural Obsession"
